Hiring Experienced Chimney Technicians & In-House CSR Roles in Chicagoland

Finding the right opportunity means more than just filling a role. It’s about stepping into a position where your experience is valued, your work has purpose, and your day-to-day contributions actually matter. Chicagoland Fireplace & Chimney Restoration is actively growing, and we’re looking for experienced chimney technicians and in-house customer service representatives to join a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.

This is not a short-term or high-turnover environment. The work is steady, expectations are clear, and the focus is on building a reliable team that supports long-term growth. Every job completed, every call handled, and every project scheduled plays a role in maintaining homes and properties across the Chicagoland area.

Experienced Chimney Technicians – Certification Preferred, Growth Supported

Chimney and fireplace systems require attention to detail and real experience. Technicians stepping into this role will handle inspections, cleanings, repairs, and full restoration work across residential and commercial properties. The work shifts with the seasons, creating a steady flow of projects that keep the role active and engaging.

We are looking for certified chimney technicians or individuals actively working toward certification. Candidates with strong chimney, masonry, or fireplace experience will also be considered and may have the opportunity to follow a structured path toward certification while working with our team. This approach allows experienced professionals to continue building their skill set while contributing immediately in the field.

The ability to identify structural concerns, recognize early signs of wear, and recommend the right solutions is essential. Customers rely on that expertise, and the work directly impacts safety, performance, and long-term durability. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, helping improve communication with a broader customer base.

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available, along with paid vacation and optional insurance for qualified team members. The goal is to create a stable role where technicians can grow professionally while maintaining consistent work.

In-House Customer Service Representatives – The Backbone of Operations

Behind every completed job is a strong internal process that keeps everything moving. Customer service representatives play a critical role in making that happen. This position focuses on managing incoming calls, scheduling services, organizing job flow, and supporting daily operations from within the office.

This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple conversations throughout the day. It requires clear communication, the ability to gather accurate information, and the confidence to guide customers through the scheduling process.

Customer service representatives do not handle technical or on-site work, but they help set the tone for every job. From the first call to final scheduling, they help customers understand the process and feel confident moving forward. Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus, allowing for better communication with a diverse customer base.

Experience in service-based industries, scheduling, or dispatch coordination is highly preferred. This role supports both technicians and customers, making it a central part of the operation. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, along with paid vacation and optional insurance based on eligibility.

A Team Built on Consistency, Not Short-Term Hiring

There is a difference between filling positions and building a team. Chicagoland Fireplace & Chimney Restoration focuses on consistency, reliability, and long-term growth. The goal is to bring in individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a company that values professionalism and quality.

Work is structured, communication is direct, and expectations are clear. That environment creates a smoother experience for both employees and customers. Every role contributes to building trust, which is especially important in a service business where customers rely on both technical expertise and clear communication.

Flexible Opportunities with Real Stability

Flexibility matters, especially when balancing work with other responsibilities. That’s why both technician and CSR roles offer part-time and full-time options. This allows team members to find a schedule that fits while still contributing to a consistent workflow.

Paid vacation and optional insurance provide additional stability, helping support long-term planning and job satisfaction. These benefits are designed to create a more dependable and supportive work environment.

What We’re Looking For

Experience plays a key role in both positions. For technicians, that includes hands-on knowledge of chimney systems, masonry, or fireplace work, along with a willingness to meet or work toward certification standards. For CSR roles, strong communication skills and experience in service-based environments are essential.

Reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism are critical across the board. The ability to work within a team, stay organized, and maintain consistency day to day helps keep operations running smoothly.

Spanish-speaking ability is a plus for both roles and supports better communication with a wider range of customers throughout the Chicagoland area.

Take the Next Step

If you’re looking for a position where your experience is valued and your work has a direct impact, this is a strong opportunity to consider. Whether in the field or in the office, each role contributes to a larger operation focused on quality and consistency.
